Technical University of Kosice has 9 faculties, around 16 000 full-time undergraduate students, almost 900 teachers and the same number of research and administrative staff. TUKE caters for a wide range of educational needs not only in the East-Slovak region, but throughout Slovakia, in many specializations it is the only centre of education and research in this area.  TUKE closely cooperates with other universities and with industrial organizations throughout the region and the Slovak Republic. Department of Robotics at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is focused on research and development in field of automation, robotics, production systems, machine maintenance, diagnostics and industrial design. In mentioned fields department provides education in bachelor, masters and doctoral degree. Department of Robotics has extensive experience with coordination and cooperation in national and international projects such as LdV projects and Structural Funds. Department regularly organizes a conference Robtep where professionals from all areas of robotics discuss latest development. Department of Robotics have several robots as industrial robots KUKA, Motoman Dual Arm Robot, OTC robot, SCARA robot, parallel robot ABB etc. Department is also working closely with many engineering companies to develop a variety of innovative solutions in the field of robotics and automation. Through this collaboration may declare huge interest of Slovak companies of robotic and automated systems, as confirmed by the fact that 90% of theses at the department are the solution to the requirements of companies such as Tesla Stropkov, MANEX Košice, MIA Engineering Dubnica nad Váhom, Vipo Partizánske and many others.

Cluster AT+R
On 3.3.2010, an Automation Technology and Robotics (AT+R) Cluster was founded in Košice in the form of an association of legal entities, Klaster AT+R z.p.o. The goal of the initiative of its founders is to concentrate development capacity and deepen the home specialisation profile and participation in international groupings for AT+R. The basic goal of the cluster's participants is to do their own activities more effectively and more dynamically, which, in relation with other members, allow to approach the domestic and international markets with higher complexity and quality. For the automation and robotic technology, the potential partners are from the fields of car industry, consumer electronics, measurement and control technology, drive, sensor and control technology components, manipulation and robotic technology and automated production systems. In the case of development projects supported from EU funds, the AT+R Cluster will represent a grouping with a high creative potential and competitive manufacturing and supplying activities. Through the membership base of SAATAR (Slovak Association of Automation Technology and Robotics), a direct link has been created to the European technological platform MANUFUTURE, EUROP and EUnited Robotics, as well as the EFFRA association, supporting PPP projects of the EÚ, specifically the Factories of the Future (FoF) programme.

Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements
Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements - PIAP was established in 1965 as a R&D public non-profit entity which basic task was preparing and implementing new technologies, automation systems, production plant and specialist measuring equipment in various branches of industry. They has rich experience from coordination and participation in several different vocational education and research projects, additionally PIAP has experience from collaboration with industry enterprises and educational institutions. Generally PIAP's activities are devoted to: scientific and technical research, design small and medium-sized production and to the introduction of modern automation techniques and systems including robotics to industrial enterprises, recycling, vocational training for SME's in automation and robotics, recycling, stimulating technological innovation, increasing of competitiveness, etc. PIAP has also considerable experience in coordination and participation in national and international projects (LdV, 5, 6, 7 FP, EU Structural Funds). PIAP is an editor of science and technology periodic PAR and JAMRIS and also organises annual International S&T Conference - AUTOMATICON.

University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest
University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest is the largest and the oldest technical university in the country and among the most prestigious universities in Romania (over 190 years). Today, the POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest is undergoing a continuous modernization process, being involved in a permanent dialogue with great universities in Europe and all over the world. The scientific research in University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest - UPB is traditionally one of the most important components of its activities, offering national and international visibility and professional recognition. In connection with the modern concepts of "knowledge society" and "knowledge economy", UPB defined certain strategic orientations of the scientific research, derived from the competencies of our human resources and relied to our research infrastructure, available in our research centers, departments and laboratories.

MANEX Company
MANEX Company was founded in. 1994. MANEX deals with projection and production of complex solutions for automated production lines in the field of transport, handling, packaging and fulfilment and these solutions are on a high level with the implementation of the latest robotic systems. It provides automated lines suggestion, project development and technical specifications of equipment, manufacture, supply, installation, debugging and commissioning works into operation, including the development and delivery of complete technical documentation and customer staff training. The common school of Juraj Henisch, Bardejov
Secondary School polytechnic as a branch of the common school of Juraj Henisch educates students in engineering, construction, electrical engineering. From four-year study fields are the mechanic adjuster (setting up, operation of NC and CNC machine tools), computer network engineer, mechanic, electrical and mechanical engineering construction and installation of equipment. Three years of training branches: car-repair (mechanic, electrician), electrician, mechanic, dry construction (drywall) and the installer (water, heating, gas). The centre of practical training at common school of Juraj Henisch is carried out for all departments. Training is provided in special classrooms for installers, education centres of build-installation equipment mechanics, welding school classroom and private garage. In the third and fourth year students carried out by our individual professional experience in more than 43 companies in Bardejov district in order to acquire professional skills in practice. Graduates advantage is that the electrical fields obtain a certificate of professional competence in electrical engineering. The school works also as welding part school, which enables all graduates also get welding license. In the past we have experience of project Comenius partnerships - school. Practice at home is provided by the various companies in Bardejov district, as well as in-house. We cooperate with the biggest engineering company KAMAX Bardejov, KAMAX Holding GmbH & Co. KG of Germany.

Lublin University of Technology
Lublin University of Technology (LUT) was established as Evening Engineering School in May 1953 on initiative of Lublin technical societies. The first faculty, which began its activity in 1953, was Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. In 1963/64 Electrical Engineering Faculty was established and in 1964 specialisation of Industry Electrical Engineering was added to it. Next year was Faculty of building engineering begun to function. In 1989 it was transformed into the Faculty of Civil and Sanitary Engineering and since July 2009 the name Building and Architecture Faculty has been used. The Evening Engineering School was altered into the High Engineering School on the 28th April 1965. Finally, celebrated moment for University was appointed for the 1st August 1977; when Lublin University of Technology was brought into begin. The complementation of the LUT's origin was accented with the establishment of the Management and Fundamentals of Technology Faculty in 1988. On 28th December 2007 the Faculty was altered into the Faculty of Management. Moreover, on 28th December 2004 the Minister of national Education and Sport published formal Regulation to establish the fifth Faculty of the Lublin University of Technology - Environmental Engineering. On the 28th December 2007, the University was broadened with the Faculty of Fundamentals of Technology.
